'In recent years there has been strong growth in our business activities. That required further automation.'
“Our office is located in Nunspeet,” says Robert. 'The production of our lifting straps takes place in Assen and storage and shipping takes place in Nunspeet. So we had two different locations. In addition, it was difficult for the office staff to immediately view the stock.
Er was eigenlijk helemaal geen goed voorraadsysteem. Watsupply chain betreft hadden we onvoldoende inzichtelijke data die we konden gebruiken.’ JOYinCARE ging stevig aan de slag met het opzetten van een geïntegreerde bedrijfsadministratie. Als aanvulling op Exact werd gekozen voor T-Box om de gewenste koppeling tussen beide locaties te bewerkstelligen. Een verkooporder voor een product wordt nu meteen in het voorraadsysteem verwerkt. Unieke serienummers helpen daarbij. Deze worden ook weer automatisch aan een verkoopfactuur gekoppeld. Dat alles zonder handmatige invoer.
In aanvulling op Exact gebruikt JOYinCARE nu enkele jaren T-Box Intercompany Logistics. Dit softwarepakket koppelt alle bedrijfsprocessen tot een centrale administratie. Consultants van Acconet hebben de implementatie begeleid.
Robert zegt dat het allemaal vloeiend draait. ‘Het verloopt bijna geheel automatisch. Het gaat zelfs zo goed dat we onze bestellingen nu rechtstreeks vanuit Assen kunnen versturen. Dat scheelt ons twee ritten op en neer.’
The T-Box application is provided by software company Acconet. T-Box was developed by Acconet itself to make manual input unnecessary. This saves time and prevents errors. T-Box links administrative systems of collaborating companies.
