Robert began his career as a technical IT programmer. After completing a Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, he continued as an Oracle Database Administrator (DBA). He managed databases, advised programmers, and developed software for monitoring Oracle databases. Robert set up databases for various large companies.
At Acconet, Robert ensures that T-Box processes run optimally. He explains: “With T-Box, we can automate processes around Exact. We connect systems from collaborating companies into a seamless whole through various technical integrations. This eliminates manual and often duplicate work, saves a huge amount of time, and prevents errors.”
Over the past few years, we as a company have invested heavily in our systems. As a result, we can now execute and manage customer environments and implementations more effectively. Additionally, we have gained increasing control over the tasks and systems running for our customers.
Robert: For example, sometimes specific error messages come back from Exact Online.
Think, for example, of situations where the integration user in Exact Online has been deactivated or a (test) administration has been deleted by a user in Exact. In such cases, T-Box loses its connection, causing integrations to stop working. This can be very inconvenient, and sometimes companies only realize it after some time. Thanks to our continuously improving logging, we can detect these issues more quickly and proactively inform the user.
Additionally, Exact Online regularly introduces new or modified functionalities. I monitor these changes to ensure that updates are also implemented on the T-Box side, preventing integration errors from occurring.
Of course, the amount of data being recorded and stored is growing in every company. Our job is to continuously explore the best ways to manage data storage while keeping processes "smart and fast." If processes within the system start slowing down, we need to investigate the cause and find a solution. Thanks to our years of experience and market knowledge, we can prevent and resolve many issues. The ultimate goal is to provide every T-Box customer with a flawless system that saves them time and effort.
Robert: Every customer is unique, with their own workflows and specific needs. That’s why we have built a set of small "microprocesses" within T-Box, such as downloading article information from Exact Online. This makes our system highly configurable, allowing us to tailor solutions to individual customer requirements without having to start from scratch each time. A good example of this is Intercompany Logistics, or logistics between companies.
